India's Boniface Prabhu and his Austrian partner Peter Tatschl finished as runners-up in quad doubles event of the Czech Open wheelchair international tennis championship held at Prostejov from June 13-17.

BANGALORE: India's Boniface Prabhu and his Austrian partner Peter Tatschl finished as runners-up in quad doubles event of the Czech Open wheelchair international tennis championship held at Prostejov from June 13-17.
The Indo-Austrian pair lost to Anthony Cotteril and Adam Field of Great Britain at 0-6,1-6.
Boniface who won the consolation event in the Polish Open last week, finished third in the four man round robin singles event.

The Bangalorean, who will next take part in the Belgian Open, Salzburg Open and UP Open tournaments later in the year, was delighted to have met the womens Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova. "She was happy to find an Indian player in the tournament and wished me luck", said Boniface.
